Cambridge quintet The Willows will be back playing on home turf this month when they stop by at Cambridge Junction on Monday 18 May at 8pm (tickets £13).
Fronted by the graceful vocals of Jade Rhiannon, the group take influence from folk traditions both English and American, fusing rich harmonies and spellbinding acoustic musicianship.
Praise has been coming in thick and fast for their second album, Amidst Fiery Skies, which was released in autumn last year, with The Telegraph calling it “outstanding” – and we think they’re destined for great things.
If you don’t catch them this time around, The Willows are also on the bill for this year’s Cambridge Folk Festival in July, with tickets available to buy now.
