Having already welcomed pop goddess Kylie, boogie rock legends Status Quo and ‘The Voice’ himself, Tom Jones, to their stage this season, Newmarket Nights have a couple more treats in store for fans of daytime racing and after-dark partying.
On the 14th, catch new wave icons Spandau Ballet, who are celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. Since their debut single To Cut a Long Story Short in 1983, the guys have enjoyed a whopping ten top ten hits including Only When You Leave, Gold and True.
Finally, on 29 August, hybrid boyband McBusted will be hitting the racecourse for a day of pure gold pop heaven. This synergy of Busted and McFly first came to be after they joined forces for a one-off gig – to a phenomenal reaction – back in 2013. They now tour together performing hits from both the original bands, plus new material they’ve written together.
Music starts after the last race has finished (usually around 8.30pm).
