Super-boutique festival comes to Cambs for a weekend of socially-distant fun in the woods
Dance under the stars, drink cocktails as the sun sets, join in with yoga, craft and a ‘not so silent disco’ and more at Spaced Out – the socially-distant shindig heading our way on 21 August. A three-day, super-boutique festival for just 300 people, it takes place in a woodland glade near Linton, replacing this year’s Wild Wood Disco, which has been cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions.
Instead, you can expect a more chilled out – but no less fun! – gathering, featuring DJs, drinks and views in a stunning setting. Food-wise, there’ll be treats on offer from the likes of Pink Nachos, The Mac Daddy and Road Dogs, while Enchanted Cinema will be wowing crowds after dark with alfresco cinema screenings of films including Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There’s also wine tasting with Through The Grape Van, electronic music meditation, ‘disco yoga’, a festival crown making workshop with Starlight Boutique and reggae and a roast to see Sunday in in style. 
Music-wise, they’ve pulled in some big hitters, with DJ sets from Groove Armada’s Tom Findlay and house music legend Seb Fontaine, plus the local Wonky Disco crowd, with tunes enjoyed via headphones later in the night, so you can crank the volume up as high as you like.
Guests are asked to book in groups of six so they can be seated together for the cinema and sundown stage, in line with current coronavirus recommendations. Weekend and day passes are available from £21.20, along with upgrade options for boutique camping, daybeds and tables at the Sundown Stage.
