Spearheaded by the University of Cambridge, the Eddington neighbourhood in the north-west of the city continues to evolve impressively. The latest addition to be unveiled is KOTA, which sits at the heart of the new Hyatt Centric/Turing Locke complex. Boasting courtyard gardens and a roof terrace, there are stunning alfresco dining and drinking options, or inside you can enjoy food and cocktails in the spacious atrium.
The concept comes from the team behind NOVI on Regent Street, and like its sister venue, KOTA will be proudly environmentally conscious and independent – offering a bright daytime feel and vibrant evening atmosphere. Matthew Knight, conceptual force behind KOTA and founder of NOVI, says: “Our strong roots at NOVI have grown and we have become an integral part of the Cambridge independent food scene. We felt now was the ideal time to expand our concept to the west of the city and we can’t wait to reveal KOTA. Diners can expect homemade botanical cocktails, all-day brunching within the hotel’s gardens and an evening menu featuring wood-fired cooking at its best – with an exciting selection of plant-based dishes alongside meat staples.”
