Choosing a first school for your child is a big deal. Open days provide the perfect opportunity to help you make the right decision for you and your child
Advertorial
A child’s primary school years ought to be some of the happiest of their life: it’s a time to play, learn, make new friends and lay the foundation for an engaged, curious approach towards learning that will last a lifetime. This means that, when it comes to choosing a school for your child, you need to be sure you’re making the right decision. Kimbolton Prep School is preparing to open its doors and welcome prospective parents at its open morning on Friday 13 May, where you’ll have the chance to find out why this could be the perfect prep school for your child.
Set in a beautiful rural setting within Kimbolton Castle grounds, Kimbolton Prep School offers plenty of space for your child to grow, learn and play. Small, single year group classes ensure that each child can find their own voice and get the support they need to unleash their potential. A balanced curriculum offers children the chance to explore different subjects, develop an inquisitive nature and discover what interests them most. They’ll receive specialist teaching in science, music, languages and sport, including swimming lessons in the on-site pool.
Whilst it’s important that students get to learn the fundamentals of subjects from the core curriculum, extra-curriculars also constitute a vital part of a well-rounded education. With over 50 clubs and activities to choose from, your child will have plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves, build their self-confidence and spend time doing things they love.
Kimbolton Prep School is within easy reach of Huntingdon, St Neots, Bedford and Cambridge, with school buses available to help reduce stressful school-runs. Plus, with before and after school childcare options and holiday clubs, every busy schedule is catered for.
There are two open mornings planned for this year, with one on 13 May and one on 7 October. On 1 October, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Senior School and Sixth Form, which the majority of Kimbolton Prep School students attend from ages 11+, either as day pupils or as boarders.
