It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Anglesey Abbey. Known for its spectacular Winter Lights offering, the stunning Jacobean manor is another must-visit attraction over the festive season; its ground-floor rooms have been richly decorated with Christmas trees, green garlands and twinkling lights, promising an enchanting visit that will leave you feeling ready for Christmas! Tickets are available to book online for entry between 1 December and 1 January.
Christmas Shopping
When it comes to sorting those all-important gifts for loved ones, Anglesey Abbey offers a refreshing change of pace from the bustle of Christmas shopping in the city centre. Its shop is open daily from 9.30am-4pm and offers plenty of gift options created by local producers, from stationery and art materials to homeware, books and plants. For a rejuvenating bite to eat, head to the Redwoods Restaurant, which is open daily and will be serving hot drinks – including festive coffees and warming hot chocolate – alongside a selection of Yuletide treats.
Christmas Choirs and Concerts
On selected dates throughout December, you’ll even enjoy a live festive soundtrack to your visit, thanks to performances by City of Cambridge Brass Band, Newmarket Town Band and Sing! Choir. Head to the website to find out more!
