London was named the UK’s favourite city for the fourth year running, favoured particularly for its nightlife. Edinburgh took the number two spot, with Bath in third place and being awarded the highest score for its architecture. Brighton, in fifth place overall, won the title of Best UK City for Restaurants and Bars.

Cambridge, in sixth place, came top for culture, just ahead of rival Oxford, while Glasgow, in ninth position, was voted the most welcoming city.
