History, architecture and style combine on the streets of Cambridge and a leisurely photowalk around the city – with its vibrant colours of the market, to the College Backs – is an excellent way to capture the famous buildings at their best.
Campkins Cameras, a family company dating back generations, will be the starting point for the walk – on 24 September – and Olympus imaging expert David Smith will be on-hand to demonstrate different photographic techniques, as well as showing you the best settings to use on the day.
In addition, there will also be a wide range of Olympus cameras and lenses to try out.
The photowalk is the perfect chance to try one of those cameras out in a proper setting, if you’ve been thinking of buying one, or you can find out more about the settings and controls on your current camera to make your images really sparkle, in a relaxed, informal setting.
The event is suitable for those new to photography, through to the keen camera user, providing inspiration and creativity as you walk around.
You have two options on 24 September. A morning session takes place from 10am to noon and an afternoon session from 2 to 4pm. Tickets cost £10.
