In their 41st and final season, one of the finest string ensembles in the world – The Endellion String Quartet – is performing their ever-popular Beethoven Cycle at West Road Concert Hall. The Endellion has been Quartet in Residence at the University of Cambridge since 1991, performing regularly in the city. The quartet appeared at nearly all of the major series and festivals in Britain, including the Proms, as well as being featured on both radio and television. Their rich variety and eloquently expressive style have captivated audiences since the quartet was formed more than 40 years ago, even winning them the Royal Philharmonic’s Society Award for Best Chamber Ensemble in 1996. The Endellion String Quartet’s next performance is on 26 February at 7.30pm at West Road Concert Hall. If you can’t make that, you can catch them on two more dates – 22 April and 20 May. Tickets start at £6.
