Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado gets an airing at the Arts Theatre this month, when director Sasha Regan brings her new, all-male production to the theatre. One of the duo’s most famous operas, this version follows a 1950s school camping trip to the far away land of Titipu, allowing for plenty of playful fun-poking at Britain, its outdated laws, politics and idiosyncratic institutions.

A fresh take on a timeless classic, you can expect great tunes and lots of silliness in this production, which runs from 27 June to 1 July. Tickets are available starting at £19.
