There’s a new kid on the block! Cambridge welcomes its very own Anthropologie store
Offering stylish clothing and accessories, as well as homeware and furniture, Anthropologie is a one-stop shop for those with an eye for creative pieces. With its distinctive style and curated collections, the Anthropologie brand has attracted customers from both sides of the pond for nearly three decades. And now, it’s finally come to bring that same timeless flair to Cambridge!
Taking over the Market Hill site that was previously home to Cath Kidston, the new store is bright, airy, and filled with bold splashes of colour. The window displays also feature a gorgeous floral installation that took more than 440 hours to create, and was hand-assembled using 7000 individual shapes to form a beautiful tribute to the spring season.

Anthropologie is known for collaborating with local artists, and the new Cambridge store is no exception. Among the local creative collaborators is artist Mary Romer, who will be exhibiting her artwork from the series ‘Imagined Geographies’, inspired by memories of cloud forms and imagined landscapes. Mary will also be running a drop-in painting workshop on 24 April, for parents and kids to paint along and learn the tips and techniques behind her work.
The new Cambridge location is the eighteenth Anthropologie store in the UK. Head along to 31-33 Market Hill to check it out for yourself, and make sure to follow @cambsedition on Instagram to see some exclusive photos!
