Christmas is arriving early at Grand Arcade with its new Christmas campaign, Discover the Wonder this Christmas, taking place from 3 November. Visitors can enjoy dazzling decorations, sparkling Christmas lights and shining hot air balloons, plus brand-new moving clouds floating across the atrium.
To officially commence the holly jolly season, Grand Arcade is inviting shoppers to Christmas Celebrations on the 15 November at 11:30am until 4:30pm with joyful performances from singers, dancers and local choirs to kickstart the city’s official Christmas Light Switch On.
“The most magical time of year is nearly here, and we are beyond thrilled to be welcoming our community to celebrate Discover the Wonder this Christmas for what will be another season of festive floating magic and merriment,” says Martin Macwhinnie, Grand Arcade’s Centre Manager.
The festive scene will be brought to life with a host of enchanting characters and interactive surprises for shoppers of all ages to enjoy. Visitors can discover Rudolph the red nose reindeer pulling a sleigh of gifts, leave their Christmas wishes at a talking letterbox, where children are invited to post their letters to Santa Claus, and meet a laughing Brussels sprout, which can be found in Santa’s House, where his Christmas dinner awaits his return on Christmas Day.
Late-night Christmas shopping at Grand Arcade
During the festive period, Grand Arcade will be hosting late night shopping from the 14 until 23 December, where visitors can shop for all their holiday needs with a range of offers. Visitors can also get into the Christmas spirit with seasonal photo opportunities, including a ‘head in the clouds’ display and a giant illuminated star on the first floor.
