The date is set for this year’s Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival, and entries are open for teams keen to paddle up. All funds raised will go to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, the charity dedicated to the Rosie and Addenbrooke’s hospitals.
The festival takes place on 12 September on the River Cam at Ditton Meadows, Fen Ditton. Up to ten paddlers can be in the boat, plus a drummer, but crews can be a maximum of 15 people. Teams can be mixed, female or male, and companies can enter more than one team.
