Wedding venue holds first charity fundraiser since relaunch last year
A Gatsby-style ball at the plush Swynford Manor promises glamorous entertainment for guests and a great fundraising boost for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
Live music from 1920s vocal trio Wild Tonics (who describe their sound as “big and sexy”) plus an auction feature at the first charity fundraiser at the exclusive wedding venue, near Newmarket, since it was relaunched under new ownership last year.
General manager Angela Ashman said: “We’re now looking to give back to a good cause which does vital work in our surrounding communities.”
There are currently 827 children, young people and family members benefiting from EACH’s services, which include short-break care, end-of-life care and bereavement support.
Tickets for the ball are £65 per person and include arrival drinks, canapés and a three-course meal with wine.
