Animals charity Wood Green can support people at every step of the pet ownership journey. From choosing the right pets and getting them settled to ongoing care and, where necessary, finding pets a new home, their friendly team is available.
Following an unprecedented year, Wood Green’s services are needed more than ever. Routines continue to be disrupted, pet owners face financial challenges and many people have welcomed a new pet into their home – especially puppies. Whatever circumstances pet owners find themselves in, be it work or financial pressures, health concerns or pets with behavioural problems, Wood Green can help.

The charity’s team of behaviour and training specialists provide free online resources and expert-led workshops and training classes, as well as tailored one-to-one advice about all aspects of dog, cat and small pet care. Not only that, Wood Green can also offer financial support towards essentials such as pet food and veterinary care (subject to assessment).
Life can be unpredictable and some owners may no longer be able to look after their pets. Whatever the reason, Wood Green will listen, advise and, if someone needs to hand over their pet, will take the animal into their care to find them a loving new home.
