While Cambridge Edition celebrates a decade, Cambscuisine is seeing in its 20th anniversary. To mark this monumental milestone in style, the local restaurant group is giving away a personalised Gold Card – entitling the winner to a year of free food at any of its country pubs or city restaurants! It was two decades ago this month that owner Oliver Thain took on the lease to The Cock at Hemingford Grey, with the plans to turn the village local into a premium pub-restaurant. Fast forward to 2021 and Cambscuisine now runs eight local pubs and restaurants, including SmokeWorks, MillWorks and The Crown & Punchbowl in Horningsea. The group has a name for fantastic food, top quality cask-ales and stunning settings – and with exciting plans afoot, the future looks even brighter for the brand.
