glasswells

As part of its 80th birthday celebrations, local independent home furnishing retailer Glasswells has a special prize in store…

Eighty years ago, on Brentgovel Street in Bury St Edmunds, Jerry Glasswell and his son Leslie began selling secondhand furniture with a focus on quality, care and commitment to their customers.

Now led by Jerry’s grandson, managing director Paul Glasswell, that small family venture has grown into East Anglia’s largest home department store, with outlets in Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, and a name that’s woven into the region’s homes.

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Glasswells is giving one lucky person the chance to win a £250 gift card to spend across its range of furniture, flooring, beds, home accessories and more.

Whether you’ve recently moved house and are ready to put your own stamp on the place, have spent the early summer hatching plans for an exciting interior redesign, or the cat has finally destroyed the sofa, this is the competition for you!
