A musical orchestra with percussion instruments on a stage

One lucky winner will win four tickets and be treated to food for both body and soul in this competition from Academy of Ancient Music, in collaboration with Scott’s All Day

This May, acclaimed orchestra Academy of Ancient Music (AAM) is teaming up with marimba sensations The Wave Quartet for a concert with a difference – and we’ve got four tickets up for grabs, along with a deliciously relaxed pre-concert dinner at Scott’s All Day!

Rhythm Across Time promises to be an extraordinary, genre-crossing collaboration, ranging from baroque to tango across five centuries of music. It’s taking place on 13 May 2026 at 7.30pm in West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge.

At the heart of the concert, you’ll hear two masterpieces by Bach. They have been rearranged for the high-voltage virtuoso percussion of The Wave Quartet alongside the AAM orchestra, putting the rhythm and precision of Bach’s music on full view.

Before the concert, enjoy dinner and drinks (a main course plus house drink per person) at the award-winning Mill Road neighbourhood restaurant Scott’s All Day. As the 2024 winner of the PAPA pizza chef of the year, all that’s left to do is pick from its menu of delicious Detroit or Neapolitan style pizzas.

To whet your appetite, you can find concert information at aam.co.uk and food inspiration at scottsallday.com.

One winner will be drawn, claiming four tickets for Rhythm Across Time on 13 May, with a pre-concert dinner at Scott’s All Day.
