Serving the community for 250 years, The Carpenters Arms has a long tradition of genuine hospitality. It has re-opened with its historical interiors sympathetically, but spectacularly refreshed. The wow factor is our new glass restaurant, which wraps itself around the rear of the pub, filling the colourful, vibrant interiors with light and air.
The history of the building is celebrated with exposed beams, warm oaks and open fires. But these traditional finishes are paired with bold modern prints adding shots of colour and texture.
Complementing the modern interiors is a modern British menu. Dishes change with the seasons using the best produce available. We’ve teamed up with our favourite local suppliers and makers to create vibrant and wholesome flavours in a relaxed setting.
Whether you fancy a quick, tasty bite to eat or a celebratory three course supper, our team pride themselves on their imaginative and varied menus. We are open all year round, serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
