Celebrate a magical evening of classical music in Cambridge, with the chance to win free or discounted tickets

The celebrated English Chamber Orchestra will open Music in Action’s new concert series at Trinity Chapel, Cambridge on 28 March 2025. To celebrate the launch of this candlelit experience, the Jersey-based charity is offering a first-place prize of one pair of Band A tickets, plus five half-price tickets for the runners-up.

Acclaimed soloist Harriet Mackenzie will join the orchestra to perform renowned classics including Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor, as well as a newly commissioned work.

This remarkable series is aimed at raising funds for Music in Action Charity, which supports musical education, outreach, workshops and bursaries for disadvantaged children.

James Mews, the charity’s artistic director, shared his excitement about the event, saying, “As a parent of two Cambridge choristers at St John’s College and King’s College, it is such a privilege to be bringing the work of Music in Action to Cambridge.”
