Experience Music in Action’s candlelit concert as the sun sets over Trinity College Chapel

After the sellout success of the 1 March 2025 Cambridge event, the series continues with a second unforgettable evening.

On Thursday 11 September from 8–9pm, the English Chamber Orchestra and celebrated violinist Harriet Mackenzie will perform a captivating programme of classics, including Vaughan Williams’s The Lark Ascending, Mozart’s Divertimento in D and Eccles’s The Mad Lover’s Suite, Aire.

Set against the glowing candlelight of Trinity College Chapel, this concert promises a magical atmosphere for classical music lovers.

By attending, you’ll also be supporting Music in Action, a charity committed to delivering workshops, bursaries and music education to disadvantaged children.

For this event, the evening will feature two performances with the same programme. If you can’t make the later show, don’t forget to check out the early concert here.
