child writing for children's Christmas story competition

Young writers across Cambridgeshire are being invited to get creative in a free Christmas Story Writing Competition organised by Christmas in Cambridge.

Open to primary school-aged children, including home-educated children, the competition invites entrants to write a festive story of up to 300 words, beginning: “Santa had visited Cambridge hundreds of times before, but this Christmas, something was very different…”

There are two categories, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with the winning stories read aloud by Santa in the Christmas tipi!

Entries close on 4 December.
