Teens can get with the program and learn how to code, or improve their coding skills, when Cambridge Coding Academy holds two courses at Easter.

Five-day Coding Fundamentals, from 9-13 April at the William Gates Building, is for students aged 13 to 18. Each day builds on the next. Day one, build your game, day two, make a website for your game, followed by gameplay dynamics, image processing and code your own music.

During the same week, for the same age group, more advanced coders can opt for AI Essentials in Python. This course starts with building a game using PyGame, then develops game AI, optimise gameplay and even create a voice recognition bot.

The price for each course is £699-£798.
