Spring has arrived which means great weather is right around the corner. There’s no better place to spend a balmy afternoon than Garden House
Garden House has now officially opened its beautiful outdoor dining area for the summer season. With stylish furniture and gorgeous views across the River Cam, it’s one of the finest spots in the city to spend a sunny afternoon, and there’s plenty lined up to lure in the crowds over the coming months. As well as a fantastic programme of live music, there will be giant garden games to enjoy, plus a BBQ menu on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring loaded hot dogs and grilled seafood.
For something a little sweeter, Garden House will also be offering an alfresco afternoon tea experience, featuring a selection of delectable sandwiches and sweet treats. These include fruit cheesecake and Cambridge burnt cream tart, alongside speciality tea and English sparkling wine.
Most excitingly of all, the venue will be hosting outdoor film screenings in association with Enchanted Cinema, offering a chance to catch favourite flicks in the stunning setting. Catch Baz Luhrmann’s recent epic Elvis and all-time classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show – tickets are £15 per person.
