A celebration of cocoa in all its forms comes to the city this month, as Cambridge Chocolate Festival returns for its biggest event yet

Taking place on 11 and 12 February in the Cambridge Union’s Debating Chamber, the Cambridge Chocolate Festival will feature 15 stalls, ranging from Ely favourite Anisa & Chocolate, to Suffolk’s award-winning bean-to-bar chocolatier Tosier Chocolate. Expect a handful of non-edible treats from the likes of plant shop Small & Green and Amber B Pottery, as well as artists from the local area.

Things kick off on Friday 10 February with an opening-night reception featuring decadent cocktails at The Orator, while the event proper begins on the Saturday, offering music, prizes, goody bags and lots more. If you fancy getting hands-on, check out the line-up of workshops, which includes traditional hot chocolate making with La Latina Bustaurante, a terrarium class with Small & Green and a cacao ceremony with Mama Bombon.
