Valentine's Day Dining - two plates of food and roses

Dishy Valentine’s dates for the food lover in your life

The Great Puddini

Hidden, the Willingham-based supper club by Puddini Caterers, invites you for a relaxed but sophisticated evening that begins with canapés and prosecco. It takes you through a ten-course tasting menu that includes scallops, Asian duck, lobster ravioli and beef wellington, then for pud, you’ll be treated to rhubarb millefleur as well as scrumptious petit fours. Priced at £90 a head, this generous menu promises to be a taste sensation!

A night less ordinary

Squires, the in-house restaurant at Bedford Lodge Hotel, is offering an indulgent five-course meal for £55 per head – and it’s available from 11 to 19 February. To start, choose from scallops with sea herbs, or corn velouté with chilli jam and toasted hazelnut. Next up is a parmesan gougère with black truffle, followed by beef short rib or herb-crusted sea bass. For dessert, enjoy the tangy flavours of mango and passion fruit, before a round of chocolate and cherries to finish. To really spoil your significant other, make a night of it by booking a room at the hotel – and take advantage of the on-site spa the next day!

Flying Hyatt

The new Hyatt Centric at Eddington is offering an exclusive Valentine’s package, complete with a charming dinner at on-site restaurant Kota. Share a gooey baked camembert, fresh oysters and succulent beef wellington for two, then enjoy a night at the stylish hotel – complete with sparkling rosé wine, rose petals and Cambridge fudge in your room! The morning after, you’ll be treated to a tasty Kota breakfast. The offer starts at £258 for two, valid from 11 to 14 February.

Spice Things Up

Masters of Indian fine dining Navadhanya will serve up a spectacular tasting menu, guaranteed to spice up your V-Day. Highlights include chargrilled monkfish with pureed red pepper, and steamed chicken dumplings with Sichuan pepper, soybean seeds and roasted tomato chutney. All for just £69 per person, with the option to add a wine flight for an extra £23.95.

Love Is In The Air

Six Cambridge is the perfect setting for a romantic meal for two – with a serious view! Priced at £64.50 each, dishes are made to share – like burrata, samosas, crème brûlée and banoffee pie. Before dessert, head to the roof terrace to launch a floating lantern carrying a handwritten love note, for a truly unforgettable evening.

Gnawty Night In
