No.77 hosts street food pizzeria this January

Stylish eaterie No.77 has teamed up with local street food outfit Fired Up for a pop-up pizzeria, running until 31 January. No.77, located in Caxton and run by the team behind The Willow Tree in Bourn, usually serves up an authentic Thai menu – but while their chefs are enjoying a trip back to Thailand, they’ll be embracing an Italian twist.

Fired Up, who you’ll find at festivals, food markets and events locally, serve artisan pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. They pride themselves on using only top quality ingredients, from the imported Italian tomatoes to the flavour-packed cured meats and cheeses, and of course, the homemade dough.

No.77 will be adding a range of Italian style starters, desserts, cocktails and wines to your dining experience if you choose, and there’s also a range of events planned to tie in with the pop up. As well as acoustic sessions with local musicians (dates TBC), there will be pizza making sessions for kids on Saturday afternoons (4-5pm, £5 per child and £10 per adult), and the restaurant will be adding an Italian flavour to their usual Cinema Sundays for January, with a family film at 3pm and a grown up one at 6pm – we’re fully expecting The Italian Job to make an appearance.
