That’s right, the hallowed US doughnut and coffee shop, known for its melt-in-your-mouth glazed rings of goodness (have you tried the Chocolate Dreamcake or Caramel Crunch?), will open up in the Grand Arcade on 20 October.
The new store will also offer that necessary doughnut companion – Krispy Kreme coffee, made from fresh ground Arabica beans, served however you like it by the store’s expertly trained baristas.
Better still, in the weeks leading up to the opening Krispy Kreme will be treating locals to a taste of the action, as its team hits the streets of Cambridge to give away complementary boxes of doughnuts to lucky passers-by and offices in the city.
John O’Shea, general manager for the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre, commented: “We are delighted that the world-renowned brand Krispy Kreme is joining us at Grand Arcade. We know that their addition to the scheme will be very positively received by our customers.”
