A Diwali treat’s in store for fans of Indian fare

Indian restaurant Navadhanya has a special festival menu to celebrate Diwali. Diners are in for a very different experience, with dishes to savour from around India, incorporating street food favourites from the sub-continent.

The Diwali menu is available up to 15 October and last year the restaurant was booked up at this time of year, so book early! Festival dishes include Kerala salmon moilli (tandoori grilled salmon fillet, tempered cassava, cocum and coconut sauce) and pan-seared duck, with mango, spiced butternut squash and lemon rice.

If you like a naan on the side, try a chilli and truffle variety, yum!

The restaurant, on Newmarket Road, opened three years ago and is ranked number one in the city on Trip Adviser.
