If you haven’t discovered Calverley’s, a brewery and taproom on Hooper Street (just off Mill Road), make it top of your must-try spots for a pint and a bite. As well as serving up fantastic craft beer, over the summer they introduced food into the mix, hosting a series of traders out the front so you can enjoy their flawless brews as well as feasting on some of the best of the local street food scene.
This weekend they’ve got a bumper line up which includes the much-hyped chicken wings of Buffalo Joes (Friday, 6pm-9pm), scrumptious Sri Lankan street food from Kura Kura for Saturday lunch (12pm-3pm) and pulled meat deliciousness from Pull me Chéri on Saturday evening.
