Greek street food brand The Athenian has just launched a Deliveroo Editions kitchen in Cambridge, offering online deliveries of fresh, high-quality Greek fare.
Expect mouth-watering souvlaki and gyros, alongside modern favourites such as halloumi fries and feta and courgette fritters. The Athenian’s souvlaki is the perfect combination of soft, handmade, custom pita bread wrapped around lightly chargrilled meat – or cheese which has been marinated in olive oil, lemon and Greek herbs – all served with an array of salads and sauces. Vegans will be spoilt for choice, too; gyros, tomato croquettes and THIS isn’t Chicken plant-based goujons are on offer, all of which can be enjoyed in a wrap, box or naked (carb-free and comes with Greek salad).
