Regent Street stalwart The Prince Regent has just undergone a full revamp, and is reopening to welcome back guests once more. The six-figure refurbishment has transformed the pub with a warm, cosy colour palette of reds and creams complementing the modernised bar, fresh new furniture and expanded menu. The spacious beer garden out back features heated seating areas alongside a bright conservatory, maximising the space – as well as staving off the cold as we move from autumn into winter.
Additions to the food menu include two new burger choices – one of which is a plant-based option from Beyond Meat, adding to the vegan options available at the pub. The staple Sunday roast has also enjoyed a level-up, and will now feature rich cauliflower cheese alongside seasoned greens and carrots, all served with glorious beef dripping gravy.
There’s a whole hand-picked drinks range to look forward to, which includes fine English wines, beer from Harston-based brewery BrewBoard, socially responsible soft drinks from LemonAid and Belu Water, plus a brand-new house ale: Prince’s Pale Ale.
Given the pub’s location, it’s an ideal stop-off if you’re out and about in town – whether you’re looking for a shopping pit stop, or just want to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Only a stone’s throw from Parker’s Piece, it’s a perfect place to catch up with friends and family.
Matt Holland, general manager at The Prince Regent, says: “The Prince Regent has always been a popular pub with a brilliant atmosphere, and we can’t wait to show our regulars and new customers alike the stunning refurb – and welcome them back in for a much-needed pint!”
