Afternoon Tease in Cambridge

The inaugural outing for Cambridge’s new wandering wine bar, The Thirsty Nomad, is on 7 November at Afternoon Tease on King Street.

This pop-up comes from new Chesterton wine bar Thirsty, who will present a selection of sparkling, red and white wines, paired with Spanish-inspired small plate dishes, including rich, meaty tomato stews, regional cheeses, seafood and bacalhau (salt cod), made by Afternoon Tease owner, Jo Kruczynska.

“As part of our mission to shake up the world of drinks retailing, we’ll spread the Thirsty gospel around town,” says Sam Owens, a partner at Thirsty. “We want to help folk explore this wonderful world of wine in the context of the cultures they hail from – and do it with a grin on our faces.”
