Due to popular demand, pub and restaurant the Tickell Arms in Whittlesford is extending its annual summer Beer Festival.

The weekend of entertainment will run from Friday 22 until Sunday 24 May, promising live music, 25 real ales and a pop-up Smokeworks BBQ.

The festival also coincides with IWM Duxford’s VE Day Anniversary Air Show, held on the Saturday and Sunday, and the conservatory doors will be thrown open for guests to enjoy the sunshine (fingers crossed) and watch the planes roar and swoop overhead.

The set list includes Working Stiffs (7.30pm Friday), Inner Lights (7.30pm Saturday), and The Hooligans followed by 19Eighties on Sunday.

The Tickell Arms, part of Cambscuisine, is located at 1 North Road, Whittlesford. The festival kicks off on Friday at 5.30pm (from midday Sat & Sun) until 11pm.
