Local district councils are funding a series of free business workshops
South Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire District Councils are funding a series of 28 half-day workshops which are free for local businesses to attend. The workshops, presented by award-winning local business support organisation, Nwes, cover a range of subjects to help local business people and entrepreneurs. Support will be focused on core business areas including marketing, finance, planning and start-up workshops. Businesses will also receive an hour’s free one-to-one business advice. The workshops are being held throughout the area.
Cllr Nick Wright, South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, says: “Our previous workshops have been a huge success and the collaboration between the two councils is allowing us to provide a greater number of workshops in venues across the districts to support our businesses.”
February’s first workshop, Planning for Growth, will be held at Melbourn Community Hub on 15 February. For more information, call Nwes on 08456 099 991 or email [email protected].
