Level 42

Forming in 1979, the group became one of the biggest success stories of the 80s thanks to their catchy lyrics, thundering bass lines and Mike Lindup’s distinctive vocals. They’ve produced an impressive 14 studio albums and scored 18 top 40 singles, including the stonking Lessons in Love and sing-along-friendly Running in the Family.

Speaking last year about their new EP, Sirens, founding member and bassist Mark King reflected: “I think 2013 will be seen as the year that rejuvenated disco/dance music, and Sirens fits the bill perfectly. We’re excited to be taking this out on the road to our fans.”

Join them on 10 October, 7.30pm at Cambridge Corn Exchange. Tickets £27.
