Oxjam

Love live music? Then you probably already know that Oxjam is coming to Cambridge this weekend, promising two days of great music from local bands, all in aid of Oxfam.

For just £10, you’ll have access to five venues: The Emperor, The Great Northern, The Alma, The Flying Pig and Relevant Records Café – or it’s just £3 on the door at each one. Oxjam Cambridge originated in 2011 with one gig taking place at The Haymakers pub. Since then, the event has continued to grow year-on-year, raising a record-breaking £7,019 for Oxfam last year.

Says the Oxjam team: “We are looking to continue on the success of last year and host the Oxjam Cambridge Takeover on Saturday 7 November 2015, with The Emperor as our main hub.”
