Award-winning Hertfordshire venue South Farm has recently unveiled The Apple Shed, a space that’s specially designed for pre-wedding moments.

With a ready room, fully equipped bathroom, four hair and make-up chairs, a lounge for relaxing, a well-appointed kitchen and even an enclosed seasonal garden for moments of peace or photography, the space was designed by Mackenzie Home to prioritise sustainability, environmentally conscious materials and small British makers, with careful consideration given to privacy and lighting.

Once part of the Wimpole Estate, South Farm was established by the 1st Earl of Hardwicke in 1740. The farm passed through several families before falling into disrepair. Saved by the Paxman family in 1976, it has since been restored and transformed into an events venue.
