Give your wardrobe a new look with some bargains from the 60s to the 80s
Lovers of vintage should definitely remember, remember the 5th of November this year – because as well as all the usual bonfire night fun, there’s going to be a huge pre-loved clothing sale down Mill Road.
Taking place at the St Barnabas Church (11am-5pm), the Vintage Weigh & Pay will offer a chance to purchase vintage clothing direct from the wholesaler – who’ll be bringing along a whopping five tons of shoes, accessories and men’s clothing from the 1960s to 1980s.
The really good bit is that you only pay for the weight of the clothing – which is priced at just £15 per kg, meaning you can give your wardrobe a spruce up while barely spending a penny.
When you arrive, you’ll get a big bag to fill with all of your finds, with the clothing hung on rails and in rummage bins. Once you’ve picked what you want, you take it to the weigh and pay station, where you can ask about the price or settle up, and there’ll be a changing room if you need to try anything on.
Entry is £1 or you can get early bird entry from 10am for £3.
