The popular drinks and food festival returns for a St Patrick’s Day edition
We’re so pleased to see that drinks shop Thirsty is reprising its Thirstyfest event for a St Patrick’s Day-themed two-evening edition.
With a plethora of good wines, beer and street food to savour almost wherever you look, the popular shop has again combined with Mackay’s for the event on 17 and 18 March.
The venue is the yard behind Mackay’s, East Road (entrance on New Street), and Thirsty are promising to deliver some of Cambridge’s best-loved street food traders including Steak & Honour, Holy Schnitzels, Al Chile, Churros Bar and Wheelys on day one and Guerrilla Kitchen, Choux Stopper, Buffalo Joe’s and Azahar on the Saturday.
Green Irish beer and green food will be available and even green fireworks will entertain and you can also try Thirsty’s own delicious wheat stout brewed in conjunction with Hamburg’s Von Freude and Heavy Industry Brewing in North Wales. It contains chocolate and smoked chipotle among its ingredients and will be available throughout the festival… or until it runs out!
Entry is free and it runs from 6 to 11pm on both evenings.
