Following a chance meeting between photographer Jan Cassidy and local resident Colin McCall, the idea of using the beautiful Victorian village hall as an exhibition space emerged.

“Our village hall is a lovely Victorian building and underused as an exhibition space. I thought it would be great to use it to showcase some of the local creative talent,” says Colin.

Colin also offered to fund the hire of the hall and soon, by word of mouth, the interest grew and the exhibiting group West Wratting Arts Collective was formed.

On 11 and 12 October, 17 artists and creative types will be showing their work, from first-time exhibitors to experienced professionals – all local to the area. Entry is free.
