Booking has opened for the Arts Theatre Cambridge’s autumn 2026 season, and the principal cast is revealed for this year’s Christmas pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk (27 November to 3 January).
The Arts Theatre Cambridge has announced that this year’s Christmas pantomime will be Jack and the Beanstalk. Matt Crosby returns as Dame Trott with UK Pantomime Award winner Steven Roberts as Jack. The cast is completed by Jessica Martin (9 to 5 the Musical), Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos (A World Elsewhere), Emma Williams (Top Hat) and Stuart Simons (La Cage aux Folles).
Musical theatre fans can enjoy a host of West End smash hits throughout the season, including the worldwide phenomenon Six (16-27 February), while dramas include A Man for All Seasons (27-31 October) starring Martin Shaw.
This month will also see the return of the triennial Cambridge Greek Play, with Ion by Euripides (14-17 October) set to be performed in ancient Greek by Cambridge University students. Plus, there is an audacious retelling of Jane Austen’s classic novel in Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) (9-14 November) and the spinechilling The Haunting of Hill House (17-21 November). Younger theatregoers will also love Dog Man the Musical (8-10 October).
