Enjoy a trip to the flicks with a twist on 20 August when the Jesus Green Lido hosts a pop-up cinema for one night only. The huge outdoor pool promises to provide a unique and magical setting for the screening of 80s classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, which begins at 7pm.
A 16ft by 9ft screen will broadcast the film on one side of the pool, whilst spectators relax on the other. There will be food and drink available from the cafe, and you’re advised to bring along cushions and chairs so you can get comfy and stay warm.
Tickets are £12 (£7.50 for under 16s), plus booking fee, via the Cambridge Live website.
