The Museum of Classical Archaeology is currently showing a selection of highly contemporary works by artist Debbie Loftus which explore the resonance of the Parthenon frieze’s innumerable missing pieces. Around 80% of the original frieze has survived to this day, but it is its fractures and absences that interest Loftus and inform her romantic creations in this exhibition, Lines of Site. The display is open from 28 January until 28 March and admission is free.
