Last month, more than 300 singers came together for a surprise flash mob at Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross, London, in support of BBC Children in Need, with six choirs from Cambridgeshire among them. The choirs are part of The Collaboration Choir, founded and run by Cambridge-born Carrie Rawlings. The singers delighted shoppers and passers-by with high-energy sets of contemporary hits and reimagined classics, including Madness’ Our House. At time of writing, The Collaboration Choir had already raised £3,000+, with more fundraising set to continue across Cambridgeshire.
