Expect hits aplenty from Nik Kershaw and his band, whose micro anniversary tour comes to Cambridge Junction on 20 August.
First picking up a guitar when he was 15 after watching a TV documentary on David Bowie, Nik cites other early influences as T Rex, Deep Purple, Simon & Garfunkel and Genesis. With multiple hit singles, platinum albums, an appearance at Live Aid, four Brit Award nominations and collaborations with such stars as Cliff Richard, Bonnie Tyler, Gary Barlow and Elton John under his belt, his most recent album Oxymoron was released in 2020.
