Having successfully defeated the pesky Trojans, all Odysseus wants to do is get back to home and hearth. But the capricious gods have other ideas, and soon our hero and his hapless crew find themselves beset by a hoard of vengeful islanders, a ravenous man-eating Cyclops (uh-oh), a troupe of seductive sirens and an old mystic who tells very long stories!

Will Odysseus overcome these many trials, appease the gods and inspire his dejected sailors? Will he ever get back home to Ithaca and his beloved wife Penelope?

Catch this frenetic, classical ocean romp before it heads up to the Edinburgh Festival in August. Showtime is 7.45pm and 2.30pm Saturday; tickets £8-£10.
