Cambridge Junction has just announced its new seasonal arts programme, packed with theatre and dance from acclaimed national and international companies.
Kicking things off on 14 September is writer and performer Alex Reynolds, whose show In the Land of Eagles explores Reynolds’ relationship with her Albanian grandfather, and takes audiences on a journey of unexpected discoveries through Albania’s little-known history.
In October, Jo Bannon presents The Dirty Work, a new solo performance that blends magic tricks with lived experience of visual impairment. Through delicate choreography and magician’s patter, which reveals more than it conceals, she unveils the invisible labour that shapes how we navigate the world (pictured).
In November, the production Matt explores depression, anxiety, addiction, shame, survival and hope, based on the real-life experiences of writer, director and lead actor Peter Dewar.
