Varmints

This richly visual piece by East London Dance, Sadler Wells and Stratford Circus uses theatre, dance and circus techniques to appeal to audiences of all ages and create a spectacular afternoon of family entertainment. It’s a pastoral story of small creatures engulfed by a big city, where every day the noise gets louder and louder, until no-one can hear themselves think.

This exhilarating dance-theatre show is choreographed by B-boy and Sadler’s Wells New Wave Associate Wilkie Branson, in collaboration with children’s theatre director Sally Cookson.

Following a successful 2013 tour, Varmints returns with an interactive post-show discussion in which the audience can meet the cast and discover more about the show.

It’s showing 19 April at 11.30am and 2.30pm; tickets £6/£10.
