The countryside comes to Cambridge this weekend (19-20 September) in the form of the Cambridge Food & Garden Produce Festival, taking place on Parker’s Piece.
Stroll round an array of stalls and pick up some seasonal home-grown fruit and veg, cakes and comestibles; there’ll be cooking demonstrations in the marquee from Masterchef’s Ondine Hargroves plus a mixology ‘adventure’ (ooh!) and entertainment on the Saturday from Cottenham Brass Band.
Starts from 10am-5pm. Note: there’s no parking so come on foot, by bike or by public transport.
